Is It Hard To Travel When You’re Tall Or Big?

A lot of people have heard of those that get on an airplane and get charged for two seats which is unfortunately seen as the person’s fault a lot of the time. Also, if you’re extremely tall they have never really made travel that simple either. What’s it like to travel as a tall person though or why do I not feel like it’s someone’s fault if they are larger and can’t fit into a seat?

I’ve been too big body weight wise but for the most part growing up and into my early 20s I was thin and extremely tall at 6 foot 6 inches. People don’t really account for things when designing a bus or something for people like a tall person getting on that bus. Greyhound is one example of some of the worst conditions for a tall person to travel for more than a few hours. The way those things are designed works out for most but if you’re even a bit bigger than an average person I think it will be a workout for you to take the bus because you’re going to have to shift around the whole time just to keep yourself from getting hurt.

This one smells like coffee and chocolate and a few other things mixed into one. But it smells sooooo good, to me and to my wife. I think this or their other food-based ones are my jam but they have other scents too that are more cologne adjacent.

I don’t really think it’s possible to create a bus that caters to every body top every time but I do think there could at least be a section for the tallest people or the largest, making it possible for the very few people on the flight that can’t fit to travel comfortably as well. I’m not sure if that’s possible, which is why I’ve learned over the years that flexibility is actually really useful, so I try to stretch properly and just keep myself active as I age so I am not hurting as I get into all these weird positions.

And on the matter of being too large for airline seats, I do get that some just don’t want to work on themselves and that’s none of my business. I also am familiar with mental issues surrounding food/depression as they sneak into my world all the time even around the medication. It’s not really important to get into why someone may be struggling, but I just wanted to say that before you’re rude or look down on someone else you have to realize they are just like you they just come from something different that you may not understand yet.
