What Does A Tall Person Get Asked Constantly?
These days, tall people tend to share their adventures in normal society on the internet on sites like Reddit and Facebook. You can learn a lot by researching the goings-ons of people that are normal just like you. I don’t know about you, but since I’m not a celebrity I don’t really care what celebrities have to do to get through life because they don’t have to worry about normal situations like everyone else.
Anyway, with that rant out of the way I will now share with you a story I found the other day. I’m interested in how others will feel about this content. The main question in THIS REDDIT POST (Click for it in a new tab) is about what you respond with when someone say wow, you’re so tall.
I get this every time I go to a doctor that needs to measure me or whatever. I’m tall and it’s not like I don’t know what to say at this point in my life but I was curious what others would say to it.
Me, personally, I’ll tell them that I like it because I can slide around my house painted green and call myself Gumby. Or something like that, it really depends on how I’m feeling that day but I feel like it’s a dumb question.
People in the comments on the Reddit post said something funny and that’s “It’s to match my IQ” and I actually used to use that one when I was growing as a kid like an alien or something and my head was growing faster at times (or my haircuts as a kid were trash that could be a part of it haha).
So do any of you care about such things? Does it get on your nerves to have to answer dumb questions about what you look like or where you’re from?
