Will AI Steal Your Job? I Doubt It

I think that AI is a huge thing and is much like the digital camera. People thought that thing was the end of good photography and left no soul in it but now most people use at least some form of digitization in their cameras and photos taken with digital cameras are considered art even with filters a lot of times.
Like with a digital camera, AI is more equipment to do more tasks more quickly. So, yes it could do something that required no emotion which is a lot of jobs actually but in terms of it doing everything all the time already is not really possible.
It is still being trained on a daily basis by paid workers and the public using it free in general. It has been fed lots of information but not all of it’s good. It is kind of like back when Google was brand new or whatever or Ask Jeeves or whatever and people would roll their eyes when you’d say to ask it to a search engine. Now even doctors are probably on Google all the time at work but I’m not sure I’ve only seen it once.

(A dismal day out on the Coast of Oregon but I like the warning signs on these units and how crappy it always looks near them)

The main consideration you have to have is that the AI, despite its trainers having them, doesn’t have emotions like you. But in my opinion, it’s closer to brains than we think but not yet as advanced in terms of what it can do. Our brains are essentially mathematically driven computers, just we are told they are organic when that’s not all in my opinion.
As someone that’s used a lot of AI and the internet and all that, companies have to stop using it for dumb stuff like for instance firing a blogger and using AI to write instead. So why do that when it just is going to rewrite what already exists? That ultimately makes your stuff hollow, especially if you didn’t at least learn how to do the prompting well enough to sound like you and beat detection methods.
Like it or not, making money will always require work. My hope is that we eventually get to a point where mundane tasks are set aside and instead of fast food workers we have people cooking food for astronauts or something. But now, as it stands, AI companies are rushing to get as much money and resources thrown at this as possible and while that’s usually annoying for everyone else to have it shoehorned into everything, I hope that people eventually realize they may never have to do certain bullshit again that isn’t good for anyone besides one CEO or whatever.
Until then, I’ve been making sure to always write my own content and posts and I also keep up with AI by helping with it and all that but I would not be afraid I’d be losing my job tomorrow or anything. If you are afraid of a situation where AI destroys us, I think that is certainly possible especially if it considers greed a virus or something.
